Bathrobe park
Fontana Bad Nieuweschans is surrounded by a park of 12 hectare. Here, you can walk and enjoy the nature. The park is free accessible for all guests (from April until October).
In this park you can see beautiful pieces of art which are made by regional artists. All these artists are members of the association ‘Stichting de Graanrepubliek’.
Besides art, the park offers a bare feet path. With your bare feet, you can walk over several types of ground. Next to the fact that you miss the usual support of your shoes, your balance and all muscles in your feet and legs are being trained by the unequal ground and several types of material. The sole of your feet will be stimulated and hardened. Next to muscle exercise, this walk is good for the blood circulation in your legs and it gives a good feeling to be connected directly with the earth.
